Music is able to express the marvellous and magical qualities of life; and when music at certain special moments attains the heights, it is nothing but pure expression of the transcendental love which flows among us all.
Journey
Right from the outset of his personal musical journey, the knowledge which Andy Lumpp has gained by studying the work of bygone masters has enabled him to cultivate his own ideas in terms of melody and harmony. This theoretical knowledge has provided the springboard for his improvisational work. His wish remains to allow music to happen spontaneously and over the years he has found his own special musical language.
